After defeating the Council Tax Witch, Tunde thought life in the UK would finally calm down.

He was wrong.

Very wrong.

Because in the shadows of London’s Zone 3, a new villain was stirring, a creature feared by all immigrants, students, and even British citizens.

A beast so powerful that even the Home Office trembled when it roared.

The Landlord Dragon.

Chapter 1: The Rent Increase of Doom

One cold morning, Tunde received an email from his landlord.

Subject: Small Rent Adjustment

He opened it.

The rent had increased by £350.

Tunde screamed so loudly that the pigeons outside filed a noise complaint.

He ran to the magical bus.

“Bus! My landlord wants to finish me!”

The bus sighed. “Ah. You have encountered the Landlord Dragon.”

Tunde gasped. “The one who raises rent for sport?”

“Yes,” the bus said. “The one who charges £1,200 for a room the size of a shoebox.”

Tunde fainted.

Chapter 2: Enter the Landlord Dragon

That evening, Tunde went to confront his landlord.

The door creaked open.

Smoke filled the hallway.

And there it was a massive dragon wearing a suit, holding a clipboard, and breathing fire made of eviction notices.

“Good evening, tenant,” the dragon growled. “I have increased your rent because… I felt like it.”

Tunde trembled. “But why? Nothing has changed!”

The dragon shrugged. “I added a new doormat.”

Tunde blinked. “A doormat?”

“Yes,” the dragon hissed. “And I might increase it again next month if the weather annoys me.”

Tunde whispered, “This country will not kill me.”

Chapter 3: The Overtime Goblin Appears

Tunde ran to the hospital to pick up extra shifts. He needed money. He needed strength. He needed deliverance.

As he entered the staff room, a tiny creature with a high‑visibility vest jumped out.

“I am the Overtime Goblin!” it squeaked. “I can help you earn more money… but you will lose your social life, your sleep, and possibly your sanity.”

Tunde thought for a moment.

“Sign me up.”

The goblin cackled and handed him a rota filled with 14-hour shifts.

Chapter 4: The Battle of the Deposit

Tunde decided he needed a new place to live.

He found a listing online:

“Spacious room in Zone 3, £950/month.”

He arrived for the viewing.

The room was so small he had to step outside to change his mind.

The landlord dragon’s cousin, a smaller but equally wicked lizard said:

“You must pay a deposit, holding fee, admin fee, referencing fee, and breathing fee.”

Tunde asked, “Breathing fee?”

“Yes,” the lizard replied. “For breathing inside the property.”

Tunde screamed internally.

Chapter 5: Tunde Fights Back

Tunde returned to the Pub Wizard.

“Sir Nigel, I need help. The Landlord Dragon is wicked.”

The wizard nodded. “Many have fallen. But you… you have potential.”

He handed Tunde a glowing scroll.

“This is the Tenancy Rights Scroll. Use it wisely.”

Armed with knowledge, courage, and the spirit of every Nigerian ancestor who ever negotiated rent, Tunde marched back to the dragon.

“I know my rights!” he declared.

The dragon recoiled.

“No! Not knowledge! Anything but that!”

Tunde raised the scroll.

“You cannot increase rent without notice! You cannot enter without permission! You cannot charge me for breathing!”

The dragon shrieked, dropped the clipboard, and flew away into the night.

Tunde stood tall.

He had won again.

Chapter 6: A New Beginning (Until Part 3)

The kingdom celebrated once more.

The magical bus honked proudly. The Overtime Goblin brought jollof rice. The Pub Wizard toasted to Tunde’s victory.

Tunde became known as:

Tunde the Rent Resister. Tunde the Brave. Tunde, Destroyer of Landlord Dragons.

But little did he know…

A new villain was rising.

A villain more terrifying than all the others.

A villain known only as…

THE HOME OFFICE SORCERER.

To be continued…
