A teenager was rushed to a hospital after attempting to circumcise himself.
The teenager of Zimbabwe, was taken to the hospital after he tried to get himself circumcised by using a machete after his friends made fun of his manhood.
According to Dr. Nyasha Masuka, medical director of Matabeleland North Province, the teenager wanted to circumcise himself after his friends mocked him and told him that he would not be able to get a girlfriend because he has foreskin.
After he botched the circumcision, the teenager was transferred to the St. Luke’s Mission Hospital in Lupane, where he spent two days recovering from the failed procedure.
Luckily, he only caused damage to his foreskin, which was later removed by doctors who performed a successful circumcision on the boy.
