Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has announced the burial arrangements for former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in a London hospital.
During a press briefing on Monday, Governor Radda stated that after consultations with the late president’s family and close associates in London, it was agreed that his remains would arrive in Katsina by noon on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Daura, Buhari’s hometown.
The governor expressed profound condolences on behalf of himself, the Katsina State government, and its people, extending sympathy to the late president’s family and all Nigerians grieving the loss of a revered national leader.
