Manchester City delivered a dominant performance at the Etihad Stadium, coming from behind to beat newly-promoted Ipswich Town 4-1 in the Premier League.

Despite a surprising early goal from Ipswich’s Sammie Szmodics in the 7th minute, City responded with three quick goals within just under four minutes to turn the game around.

Erling Haaland was the star of the match, scoring a hat trick, while Kevin De Bruyne added another goal to maintain City’s perfect start in their quest for a fifth consecutive league title.

Szmodics gave Ipswich a dream start when he latched onto a pass from Ben Johnson and scored past Ederson, who couldn’t handle the shot.

However, City quickly regrouped, with Haaland equalizing from the penalty spot in the 12th minute. Shortly after, De Bruyne pounced on a mistake from Ipswich goalkeeper Arijanet Muric to put City ahead.

Haaland doubled his tally when De Bruyne set him up with a well-placed chip over the defense, and the Norwegian completed his hat trick in the 88th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box.

Elsewhere in the league, Tottenham Hotspur secured a 4-0 win over Everton, thanks in part to Jordan Pickford’s error and two goals from Son Heung-min. West Ham defeated Fulham 2-0 away, while Fulham edged Leicester City 2-1 in a tightly contested match at home.
