A young boy became an Internet sensation after he began his business of giving advice to adults.
The 11-year-old boy “therapist” of New York, set up his “office,” which consist of a small table and two chairs at a subway station.
Ciro Ortiz, who goes by the name Emotional Advice Kid on Instagram, charges $2.00 for each session for anyone willing to talk for a few minutes while waiting for their train to arrive.
The boy has spent his last 9 Sundays at the L train stop in Brooklyn, where he earned about $50 every week.
The sixth grader has a sign, offering “emotional advice.” Each session lasts about 5 minutes.
Ortiz said that he was inspired to offer counseling after he was bullied at school. The brave boy then used the money to buy food and snacks for children at his school who can’t afford them.
Ortiz revealed that one couple came to him for advice. The husband complained that his wife became vegan and that he does not agree with it.
Ortiz said that he told the husband that his wife does not get mad at him for eating meat so he should not get mad with her choice of food.
