Romaine calm, Chrissy Teigen didn’t mean to offend the masses.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit stunner upset users on social media over her use of the word “Oriental.”

The hoopla started after Teigen, whose mother is from Thailand, tweeted about the salad dressing served on a recent flight.

“I really really really really clearly am not a PC type of gal but I’m a little weirded out at the oriental dressing option on my flight,” she wrote to her 2.66 million followers on Monday.

Users were quick to point out that “Oriental” is only considered to be an offensive when used to describe Asians.

“Objects are what can be called oriental. Rugs, dressing, art work, etc. Not people,” a fan wrote.

Teigen, 30, disagreed.

“So many people writing me this but no, it is not. Lol. This is a new, made up definition I guess.”

She then upset Twitter more after stating the “outdated” term is not considered a “slur.”

“Do I think saying “oriental” is inappropriate? Yes. Laughable and ignorant. Am I OFFENDED when I hear it? No.”

The “Cravings” author has engaged in Twitter tirades before about her diet, the choice to undergo IVF treatments and a pro-gun-control post.

She’s also had feuds with the likes of Donald Trump, Piers Morgan and a former Us Weekly reporter who was terminated by the gossip weekly over their fight.
