Lovers of Nigerian Nollywood movies are in for some jolly rimes as some veteran actors who made the industry what it used to be are gradually making a comeback, the latest being popular actor and Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Richard Mofe Damijo, fondly called RMD, is set to make a come back to movies.
We gather from a source on the particular movie set being shot in Bayelsa State, that the much loved multiple award winning actor is truly back to the terrain he knows better.
Though the name of the movie and the crew has been cast in secrecy, our source say that the movie is going to change the face of movie making and acting in the country as RMD, who is 53 years old, wants to show the new generation of actor what it means to be a true professional.
RMD was reportedly paid millions of naira to get him off his official table to the trenches of moviedom.
He joins the likes of evergreen actress, Liz Benson as some the stars of yesterdays who are making a come back to Nollywood.
