Borussia Dortmund have agreed a fee to sell England midfielder Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid.
Bellingham, 19, has spent the last three seasons in the Bundesliga following his switch from boyhood club Birmingham.
Impressive performances at the heart of BVB’s engine room has seen his reputation rocket, along with eye-catching displays for the Three Lions at last year’s World Cup.
Los Blancos have fought off competition from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City to land the prized asset.
A Dortmund club statement said: “Jude Bellingham is about to transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid.
“The parties have reached an agreement today. The contractual details still have to be coordinated and documented.
“Real Madrid will pay BVB fixed transfer compensation of โฌ103million [ยฃ88.4m] if the transfer is implemented.
“In addition, the payment of variable transfer fees up to a maximum total amount of around 30% of the amount of the fixed transfer fee was agreed.
“The variable transfer fees are dependent on the achievement of certain sporting achievements by Real Madrid and/or sporting achievements or performance by the player at Real Madrid over the next six seasons.”
