President Muhammadu Buhari has warmly felicitated with former Permanent Secretary, State House, Nebolisa Emodi on his 60th birthday, August 25, 2021, congratulating the career public servant for diligence, dedication and commitment to nation building.
The President sent greetings to family members, friends and professional associates of the engineer and administrator, who played a significant role in design and realization of infrastructure in the country, particularly in the Ministry of Transportation where he supervised efforts to resuscitate the railway system.
As the Permanent Secretary that ensured smooth transition at the State House after the 2015 elections, President Buhari notes Emodi’s maturity, focus and skill in handling technical and sensitive government issues, demonstrating a high sense of loyalty and patriotism by placing the interest of the country above personal needs and gains.
President Buhari affirmed that the former Permanent Secretary had always distinguished himself and shone brightly.
The President prayed for his good health, strength and longer life.
