The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), on Thursday, said a report on the crash of a military aircraft would be ready next week.
The crash, which occurred in Kaduna in May claimed 11 people including the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru.
The Commissioner, AIB, Akin Olateru, disclosed this in Abuja while releasing eight flight accident reports.
The bureau, however, noted that it was uncertain if the findings would be made public by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
Speaking on the report of the crash, Olateru said: โRecall its a NAF aircraft but unfortunately it happened at the civil airport.
โSo, graciously the NAF felt we could be of assistance and then they commissioned us to assist in the investigation, which is ongoing and whether the NAF makes that public is not our call.
โThis is because it is not under the purview of the AIB. But within the next one week, for us, the preliminary report will be ready.โ
The bureau also said the eight latest report was the biggest haul since establishment of AIB.
