The Kano branch of the EFCC/NYSC Integrity Club today March 25, 2021 solicited for the Commission’s support in its campaign against corruption.
The call was made by the President of the Club, Ifediora Echezona during a Courtesy Visit to the Kano Zonal Office of the EFCC.
Echezona also called on the Commission to occasionally assign officers to lecture members of the Club on corruption and how to prevent it.
EFCC/NYSC Integrity Club is a Community Development Service Group in the National Youth Service Corps, designed to engage Corps members as foot soldiers in anti-corruption campaign in their respective places of primary assignment.
Responding to the request by the Integrity Club, the Head of the Kano Office, Sanusi Aliyu Mohammed assured the members of the Commission’s unwavering support in their sensitization drive. He promised to provide them with logistic support and security during sensitization campaign.
He, however, advised the CDS Group to be security conscious and restrict their sensitization activities to the Kano Metropolis.
He promised to make resource persons available to lecture them on corruption issues. ‘’We are always happy to come and give you lecture, but endeavor to write and notify us before time, detailing the time, venue and theme of the lecture, ’’ he said.
