The Chief of Defence Staff, General LEO Irabor, led Service Chiefs including the COAS, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, on Operational visit to Force Headquarters and troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) in Gusau, Zamfara State on Tuesday 9 March 2021.
The CDS and Service Chiefs were received by the Force Commander OPHD Major General Aminu Bande, Commander 1 Bde and Commander 207 NAF QRG.
The visitors were briefed at the FHQ and later the CDS on behalf of the service Chiefs addressed the troops.
He commended the troops for their fighting spirit and charged the troops to sustain their aggressiveness in dealing with the unrepentant criminals. The CDS and Service Chiefs later paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Bello Matawalle, before departing.
