The Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma at his grand reception by the Oru Nation addressed the issue of unemployment in the state.
The youth loving and empowerment-youth Governor assured Imo youths of his efforts to empower and enable them have gainful employment opportunities in the state.
The Governor disclosed that the Government is working round the clock to revamp industries built by Sam Mbakwe while the Government is leveraging on the public private partnership attracting Industries and businesses that will also employ Imo youths.
“By the time we revamp 50% of such industries, we are sure of reducing unemployment by 60%” Uzodimma stated.
Governor Uzodimma further disclosed that he has been in touch with the Federal Government and President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) has approved intervention funds to revamp all industries built by Dee Sam Mbakwe.
