The National Public Relations Officer of Nigeria Customs Service, DC Joseph Attah has won the International Public Relations Golden World Award 2020 for outstanding performance in Public Sector Communication.
Also, NCS bagged the 2020 African Public Relations Award in recognition of itโs Superior Achievement in Branding Reputation and Engagement (SABRE).
The awards is being hosted by The Holmes Report in collaboration with the African Public Relations Association (APRA).
Both bodies cited aggressive sensitisation drive across the country during the early part of the ongoing border drill. Further reasons were based on recognition of selflessness, commitment and devotion by the Service in effective deployment of communication to address various economic, social and security challenges.
The Customs Command and Staff College was not left out as they bagged 2020 Security and Emergency Management Award (SAEMA) for outstanding training feats on Security and Emergency Management.
