President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and other top echelons of the ruling All Progressives Congress have adopted the O to ge (enough is enough) mantra, being the political statement of the Kwara electorate.
O to ge became household chorus in Kwara State as the people approached the 2019 general elections with what they claimed was their resolve to break the Saraki hegemony in the state.
The people made good their threat as they voted out Senate President Bukola Saraki during the National Assembly election of February 23.
Again, on Saturday after casting his vote in Lagos State, the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, counselled Lagosians to not adopt O to ge as do Kwarans, saying Lagosians should rather adopt O t’ope (it’s praise-worthy) because of the successes Lagos has so far recorded among all the states of the federation.
