A driver was pulled over while speeding on a highway after a police officer saw the suspect watching porn on a cellphone, according to police in Australia.
Melbourne police said that they detained the 50-year-old driver in middle of the night on Wednesday, on the Monash Freeway.
An off-duty police officer caught the suspect after driving next to the suspectโs vehicle. Since it was dark, the officer could see the phone screen while driving beside the suspectโs car.
The officer noticed that the driver was watching porn while speeding on the highway. The officer wrote down the license plate number and reported the description of the driver.
Later in the day, police called in the suspect for questioning.
Police said that the driver admitted to watching porn on his cellphone while driving.
The man lost four points on his driver’s license and got a fine of $466 for using a mobile phone while driving and $622 for offensive behavior.
