A teen in New Zealand, who is suffering from bone cancer, is hoping to give birth before she dies.
16-year-old Rihanna Truman has been diagnosed with bone cancer at age 12.
8 months ago, Truman got pregnant with the hope of having a baby before she dies of her illness. The girl revealed that her partner, who was not identified, will take care of her son once she passes away.
At the beginning of the pregnancy, doctors told the girl that since her cancer is so rare, it is unknown whether she would be able to have a healthy child.
Luckily, the baby is growing at a normal pace. The girl is living with her partner and his family.
The girlโs family encouraged her to have an abortion, but she refused, saying that if she dies, she will be happy to leave a child who will be grateful that she had him.
