A groom filed for divorce after seeing his wife’s face without makeup on their honeymoon.
Psychologist Dr. Abdul Aziz Asaf said that the man of the United Arab Emirates, was horrified when he saw his wife without her heavy makeup.
The couple was at the Al Mamzar beach in Sharjah, where the water caused the woman’s makeup to come off.
The man saw his 24-year-old bride without her makeup, false eyelashes and colored contact lenses for the first time.
He also realized that she had cosmetic surgery done and he was not impressed.
The woman went to the psychologist to see if he can help her get her husband back. However, the 30-year-old man said that he felt “tricked by her artificial beauty.”
The groom wanted to divorce immediately and he refused any attempt to work on the marriage, Dr. Asaf said.
