It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke.
Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin were briefly trapped in a New York apartment elevator Thursday before being rescued by the FDNY, as documented in a suspenseful slew of Snapchats.
โWeโre actually stuck in an elevator in real life, like I never thought this would actually happen,โ Kendall narrated, panning across her phone-fixated pals including model Jordyn Woods. โIโm genuinely so terrified.โ
It was unclear in which building the drama unfolded, FDNY department responded to a 7:33 p.m. stuck elevator call from 15 Leonard St. where, according to Curbed NY, Kylie may be staying.
The mood in the elevator appeared to range from concern to boredom as the young women alternately sat around waiting for help, fretted over their predicament and searched for a way out.
โSo my worst nightmare just happened; we are stuck in the elevator,โ Kylie told her own Snapchat followers.
Baldwin weighed in as well with a โThis is crazy; Iโm dying.โ
At one point, the lip-kit purveyor lamented that her sister had already eaten โall the f–king foodโ they had, a Nature Valley granola bar.
A cadre of New Yorkโs Bravest arrived about 7:40 p.m., according to a timestamp on Kendall’s phone, and released the models minutes later.
โAhh, youโre a lifesaver, thank you,โ said one of them amid several excited squeals.
As a reward for their rescue, of course, the firefighters earned a photo op with the reality-star sisters.
