A man was arrested on a charge of manslaughter after being accused of killing his friend because she ate his leftover sandwich, according to police in New York.
Now, 34-year-old Marcus Gottsche of Buffalo, has been sentenced to serve 22 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Jasmine Armour.
According to the police investigation, Gottsche and Armour spent a night together drinking before they went together to his home.
Armour was hungry so she started eating a leftover sandwich.
When Gottsche saw her eating the sandwich, he became angry.
They started the fight, and at some point, Gottsche grabbed his rifle and fired a shot at Armour as she tried to flee from the house.
Unfortunately, she died of the gunshot wound.
