Portugal progressed into the last four of Euro 2016 after a 5-3 penalty shootout win against Poland on Thursday, thanks to a fine equalizer strike by 18-year old Renato Sanches.

Poland got off to a perfect start with Robert Lewandowski firing them ahead in the second minute.
It was the Bayern Munich striker’s first international goal since October 2015 and his first of the tournament.
The game went into extra time after a winner failed to emerge in regulation time.
Penalty shootout was needed to separate the two teams as they both
failed the winning after another 30 minutes of grueling affair.
Portugal, who are yet to win a match at Euro 2016 in regulation time, scored all their penalties, while Poland missed two.
