A man was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment after allegedly
showing teens how to use a gun inside a grocery, according to police in
Pennsylvania.

The Carlisle Police Department said that they have arrested 39-year-old
Christopher R Schmuck, after being drunk and waving his firearm at the
Quick Stop Deli.

Schmuck was charged with weapons violations, reckless endangerment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

He was booked into jail, and his bail was set at $50,000.

According to the police, officers were called to the Quick Stop Deli
located at 601 West Louther Street on Friday, on a report of a male with
a gun.

Officers who arrived at the scene, found Schmuck at the front of the
business. Schmuck concealed a 45 caliber Glock handgun in his waistband.

Further investigation revealed that Schmuck was highly intoxicated and
was attempting to provide gun safety instructions to two teenagers.

At one point, the weapon had a live round in the chamber.

Schmuck did not have a license to carry a handgun.
