A woman who woke up with her false teeth missing, called the police to
report them stolen, according to police in South Carolina.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies responded to the
woman’s home after she called them to say that someone pulled her false
teeth out of her mouth while she was asleep on her couch.
The incident unfolded on Wednesday morning. Police officers who arrived
at the home, were greeted by the 33-year-old victim. She told them that
she fell asleep on the couch with her false teeth in her mouth.
When she woke up, her upper plate was missing. She insists that someone pulled it out of her mouth while she was asleep.
Police urged the woman to call them when she finds her false teeth in the house. The teeth cost about $900.
