A police officer of Florida, is in critical condition after shooting
himself when he was released from prison following child pornography
charges. The officer, who is a father of five children between the ages of 1 and
12, was arrested watching child pornography during work.

Broward County Sheriff’s Officer Sgt. Kreg Costa, 43, was busted after
investigators planted cameras in his office, where he allegedly watched
child pornography and other sex videos during work hours.
They also discovered that Costa was involved in cybersex chats with a
16-year-old girl from California. He allegedly convinced the girl to
send him videos of herself performing sex acts.
Costa was arrested on 29 charges related to child porn and illicit sex.
After he was released from jail on $250,000, the officer shot himself.
Sheriff Scott Israel said that Costa is still alive, but he is in
critical condition. It is too soon for doctors to know if he will
recover.
