A Woman set her baby’s father to be murdered in front of his daughter while he was handing over the child.
Deonte Coleman, 25, and Krystal Guice, 23, were arrested on Feb. 2, a
day after the shooting death of Johnny Dee Haney II.A judge set Guice’s
bail at $35,000. Coleman was ordered to remain held without bail.
According to Henderson police, Guice and Haney arranged to meet Feb. 1
to hand over their daughter to her. During the meeting, a man who was
accompanying Guice, shot the child’s father several times.
After the shooting, police said, Guice and Coleman grabbed the child and fled the scene in a vehicle.
The victim died at the scene, police said.
Police said that Guice and Coleman were arrested early Tuesday
morning at a home near the intersection of West Cheyenne Avenue and
North Hualapai Way.
Both Guice and Coleman were charged with open murder. They are being held at the Henderson Detention Center.
