The short-lived romance between Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston didn’t end on a bad note.
The “Avengers” actor insisted he’s still on good terms with Swift after their whirlwind three-month relationship came to a sudden finish earlier this month, telling People that he’s amicable with the “Shake It Off” singer.
“Yes. Yes, we are,” he told the magazine with a smile at Sunday’s Emmy Awards.
Hiddleston and Swift sparked their fleeting romance in mid-June, a few weeks after the singer broke things off with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. During her short-yet-memorable jaunt with Hiddleston, the duo toured London, Rome and Australia, met each other’s parents and spent the Fourth of July together at Swift’s Rhode Island party.
Their split was initiated by Swift, who felt the relationship had become “more public than she was comfortable with,” an insider dished to Us Weekly shortly after the breakup.
Hiddleston, 35, seems to be enjoying at least some aspects of the single life, however, as he was spotted “openly flirting” with actress Priyanka Chopra at an afterparty following the Emmys, multiple witnesses told E! News.
“Tom had his arm around her and held her close. Afterwards, Tom and Priyanka talked closely and were holding hands at one point for a few moments,” one insider told the outlet. “Priyanka fixed Tom’s bow-tie and then the two kissed on both cheeks.”
Insiders also told E! News that Hiddleston and the “Quantico” star, 34, exchanged phone numbers and, in addition to exchanging multiple kisses on the cheek, engaged in a “long hug” before the evening ended.

“Priyanka and Tom said goodbye and she told him that she will see him later,” the source added. “They left the event about a minute after each other.”
Chopra and Hiddleston presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie at the Emmys together, with the “Thor” star twirling the actress as they ventured onstage.
The 26-year-old Swift, meanwhile, is yet to comment on her breakup with Hiddleston.
