2019 elections most covered events in Nigeria, says NEC

The 2019 general elections were the most extensively covered in the country, the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has declared.

Its chairman, Prof. Yakubu Mahmood, stated this on Thursday. He declared over 1,972 journalists were accredited for the polls.

52  foreign media were also on ground to provide coverage for the polls.
