Tribunal upholds Emmanuel’s election, dismisses petition by Nsima Ekere

Akwa Ibom Governor Udom Emmanuel

The state Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Akwa Ibom Thursday, dismissed the case filed by Akwa Ibom All Progressives Congress (APC) guber candidate, Mr Nsima Ekere.

In its judgement, the tribunal declared Mr Udom Emmanuel as duly elected Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
