Popular Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) cleric, Evangelist Ekunola Davies, has declared only God has what it takes to fix Nigeria.

He said Nigerians have no choice but to resort to God after all the contraptions and ideas of governance has failed.

“We used to have military government with all the challenges. We switched to democracy to get relief but we are still pretty the same.

“There is no doubt we need nothing else than God to fix Nigeria because everything we know and tried has failed us,” he stated.

He spoke last week during a parley with reporters in Lagos ahead of the 20th edition of Genesis Crusade.

The crusade with the theme Ebenezer holds on January 20, 2020 at Genesis Crusade Ground, Araromi city, Oteyi bus-stop, along the Papa-Ilaro road in Ogun State.

The televangelist said the crusade is interdenominational, stating it has become a bastion of divine intervention and direction for thousands in the last 20 years.

He recalled how the crusade started on the streets of Oshodi in Lagos in 2001 before it moved to the Oshodi/Isolo local government secretariat, then to Blue Roof at LTV 8 Ikeja.

In 2010, it finally moved to the ministry’s permanent crusade ground in Ogun state.

According to Davies: “Over the years, the crusade has not only been a gathering of thousands but it has also served as a platform of salvation, healing and deliverance for many who have attended.

“It is our belief that the 20th edition will deliver a greater encounter that would bring forth greater testimonies for the people.

“It is going to be a meeting of worship, prayer, revival and impartation,” he added.

He assured that despite failed promises from political leaders, economic hardship and insecurity in many parts of the nation, God has helped Nigeria far from destruction.

As a new decade begins, he appealed to Nigerians to be more prayerful and commit the nation and their lives into God’s hand to continue to take charge and provide help.

Other ministers expected at the crusade include Evangelist Akinwale Adegbola, Prophet Biyi Adebamowo, Evangelist Seyi Ogunbona, Evangelist Samson Ojuolape and Pastor Ifeloju Agbeyangi of Nazareth Apostolic Church among others.
