The House of Representatives has passed N199.2billion as the budget for the services of the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

The budget covers the expenditure for “1st January and  ending when the 2021 FCT Statutory Appropriation Act comes into effect.”

The budget was passed on Wednesday at the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, in Abuja.

Lawmakers had earlier on Tuesday completed the clause-by-clause consideration of the report on the budget and approved it before it was read the third time on Wednesday.

A break down indicates that the sum of N63.6bn is for personnel costs; N55.3bn for overhead costs; and N 80.2bn for capital projects.
