Prime Minister Ünal Üstel visited government offices in Kyrenia today and received first-hand information from the authorities about the problems and needs.

Making a statement to BRT after his visit, Prime Minister Üstel noted that they had one-on-one meetings with department managers and officials to find solutions to the problems coming from citizens, and that these visits would continue in all districts.

Prime Minister Üstel, who also gave tips on public reform, noted that promotion and employment in the public sector would be based on merit and education, and the necessary legal arrangements would be prepared for this.
Expressing that legal arrangements will be made regarding the relocation of public employees, if necessary, the Prime Minister underlined that arbitrary relocations will be prevented.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said that legal work will be started for the institutionalization of the ministries and that the departments under the ministries will not change in coalition negotiations from now on.

Referring to the strike in the driving license units, Prime Minister Üstel noted that there is a shortage of personnel, but the solution is not to victimize the public, and that the problem should be resolved by consensus.

Emphasizing that they will deal with the issue of relocating personnel from the apartments with surplus staff to the apartments in need, Prime Minister Üstel stated that they will work to move some apartments that are nested in Kyrenia to a separate building.
