The suspect, Jean Smith Kolie, who was caught red-handed while trying to exit Ercan Airport with a fake visa appeared before the court.

Police officer Kozan Debreli, who testified in the court regarding the issue said that the suspect Jean Smith Kolie was accused of “making false official documents and putting them into circulation”. DEFENDANT ARRESTED

Debreli, who stated that the suspect’s visa was found to be fake in the examination made by ground services officers on the same day, would send him to the court that the suspect was arrested red-handed.

PAYING US$ 1,500, PROVIDED VISA

Police said in his self-written voluntary statement and verbal statement that he paid 1,500 US dollars to an unknown person staying in Guinea for a visa and obtained a visa.

HE WILL BE ARRESTED FOR 3 DAYS

The police pointed out that the investigation has just begun that the suspect’s voluntary statement should be translated, confirmed and refuted, and that his status in the TRNC will also be investigated, and demanded that the suspect be kept in police custody for 3 days so that the investigation can be carried out safely.

Evaluating the martyrdom given in her presence, Judge Jale Ergรผden ordered the suspect to be kept in police custody for 3 days for investigation purposes.
