This morning, Governor Makinde of Oyo State presented the proposed 2022 fiscal budget tagged a ‘Budget of Growth and Opportunities’ to the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The proposed budget total is N294.5B. For the first time, the capital budget of N156B exceeds the recurrent budget of N138.5B.
As with previous budgets, Infrastructure takes the lead in percentage of allocations at 32.83% followed by Education at 18.37%. Healthcare and Agriculture are 5.9% and 3.84% respectively.
