The governor of Imo state, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has blasted the immediate past governor of the state Senator Rochas Okorocha to stop looking for partners in failure.

The governor who gave the warning through his Special Assistant on New media said “If you failed during your Administration, allow others to succeed. Stop looking for partners in failure.”

He wondered why the “former governor and his supporters are busy looking for partners in failure in the state where there is none, telling them to take solace in failed states like Kogi, arguing that “Imo is definitely out of it.”

He praised the governor for raising the internally generated revenues in the state from a mere N240 million to a whooping N800 million saying that that such a governor can not be attributed to be on the wrong footing in good governance.

In a series of social media post, Hon. Aic Akwarandu enumerated: “A Governor that met an IGR of about 240m and within the last three months made an increase to 800m, is a Governor that must be celebrated.”

“Transparency, Due Process, and Accountability has retuned in Imo.”

“Today, Imo is seen differently in the comity of States.”

“Investors are beginning to take interest in the state, and development partners are finding pleasure in the state again.”

“These things didnโ€™t just come about. It is happening because Imo has a governor that is deliberate, focused and committed to a better Imo.”

“Governor Ihedioha has without any doubt, proven to be that leader that will turn around the fortune of Ndi Imo for Good.”
