Doctors in China, have released an X-ray, showing a man’s hand with four of his fingers severed.
The man cut the fingers of his hand during an accident with an electric saw.
The construction worker did not realize the extent of his injuries, as he was wearing thick gloves at the time of the accident, which caught the fingers after they were cut.
He was unable to remove the glove because it was too painful. The man walked to the Harbin Orthopaedic Hospital, where he told nurses that he injured his hand.
Doctors took X-rays while he still had the glove on his hand. Hospital staff members were surprised to see that all of his four fingers had been completely cut off from the palm of his hand.
The accident occurred when the construction worker slipped at work while operating the saw and cut into his left hand.
He was taken to surgery, and the surgeons sewed all the fingers back in an operation that lasted eleven hours.
He is expected to regain use of his fingers.
