A mouse in the United Kingdom, got lucky by finding a discarded Krispy Kreme donut in a parking lot, according to a video that was uploaded to the Internet.
24-year-old Emma Higham of Manchester, who is a Krispy Kreme customer, said that she was disturbed by the scene of the mouse dragging and eating the donut she loved.
Higham, who works at a hospital, was unable to eat her donut that she bought at the drive-thru after seeing the mouse devour the sweet delight.
Higham pulled out her cellphone and recorded the hungry mouse while she was eating a donut and drinking a milkshake in her parked car.
The video shows the mouse running under a Krispy Kreme garbage bin and then jumping through the parking lot with the donut in its mouth.
At one point, a bird tried to steal a piece of the donut, but the mouse resisted and manage to eat the whole treat by itself.
Higham and her partner, 26-year-old Chad Berrisford, said that the incident unfolded on Sunday. Higham said that she will never eat at Krispy Kreme again.
The couple filed a formal complaint with Krispy Kreme. A spokesperson for Krispy Kreme said that the company has called pest control and the facilities were cleaned.
