A man was arrested on a charge of video voyeurism after allegedly posting photos of a woman’s private parts on social media sites, according to police in Florida.
Hialeah Gardens police said that they have arrested 28-year-old Jose Santiago Jr., after being accused of embarrassing the girlfriend of his roommate, following a fight.
Santiago was charged with video voyeurism, video voyeurism dissemination and stalking.
According to the criminal complaint, on Tuesday, Santiago and his roommate had a fight, and he promised to embarrass his roommate and his roommate’s girlfriend.
Later that evening, Santiago saw his roommate’s girlfriend asleep on the couch of his home and her dress was lifted.
Santiago was able to see the woman’s private parts as she was wearing see through panties. Santiago took photos of the woman’s private parts, and uploaded them to Facebook and Instagram.
He also claimed that he had sex with the woman.
When the woman woke up, she saw messages from her friends and family members along with the pictures of her private parts.
She told police that she was extremely embarrassed by the photos, and they causes her shame and anxiety.
