Police were called to a hotel in Alaska, after bodies were discovered in a room.
Fairbanks Police said they responded to a call at the hotel regarding a “suspicious circumstance.”
When officers arrived, they found a man crying in the hallway and four bodies inside a Hampton Inn Hotel room.
Police said that 22-year-old McKay Hutton shot and killed his mother, wife and his 8-week-old baby on Friday, before turning the gun on himself.
The man, who was found crying in the hallway, was not identified, but police did say that he is a family member who was not involved in the incident.
Police have identified the victim as 54-year-old Linda Hutton, 22-year-old Emily McDonald and 8-week-old Teagan Hutton.
Police found a gun in the hotel room. It was determined that McKay Hutton killed the three victims before committing suicide by shooting himself.
Police are still looking for a motive for the triple murder, but they said that drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor.
