A mall in China, came up with a brilliant way of getting more women to spend money at their stores.
In order to create a more enjoyable shopping experience for both husband and wife, the mall in Shanghai, opened a new innovative facility called the “Husband Nursery.”
The room is set up so that men can sit and relax while the women shop. The “Husband Nursery” is located on the third floor of the new Vanke Mall in Qibao.
The room has free WiFi, television, magazines, newspapers, comfortable chairs, including a massage chair, and a refrigerator with a dispenser for cold water so husbands can relax while their wives spend time shopping.
Many people love the idea. One man said: “What a brilliant idea, as a man going shopping with his wife is worse than work.”
Others think that random people will come in and hog the place for the free WiFi and to relax. “In two days, the room will be occupied by uncles and aunts,” another man said.
