Rumors swirled on Friday that the 32-year-old reality TV star was engaged to Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, according to multiple gossip sites, but those reports were quickly shot down by sources close to the pair.
The pair was reported to be planning a TV wedding ceremony, but that was also denied by sources.
Kardashian and Thompson, 25, have reportedly been dating for just two months and were already faced with their first test as a couple after news broke last week that the NBA player’s ex-girlfriend Jordy C is pregnant with his first child.
An ESPN reporter covering the Cavaliers said a source close to athlete told the network that both the engagement reports and a plan for the TV show are untrue.
A quick hitch wouldn’t be that surprising for the youngest Kardashian sister. She and former NBA player Lamar Odom wed just one month into their relationship in 2009.
The two have yet to finalize their divorce, as Kardashian delayed the filing off after the athlete overdosed at a Nevada brothel in October 2015, in order to be able to make medical decisions on his behalf. She refiled to divorce her husband of seven years back in May.
Since calling it quits with Odom, Kardashian has also dated rapper French Montana and Houston Rockets player James Harden.
