Brad Pitt has the breakup blues.
According to an US Weekly source, the “Moneyball” actor is “still totally crushed” two weeks after his estranged wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce, thus ending their two years of marriage and 12 years together.
“He can’t believe this is what his life has become, and he’s in bad shape, but the kids are the only thing he’s hanging onto,” the source said.
“He’s been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly. His mom has been talking to him constantly.”
The former it couple on Friday reached a “completely voluntary agreement” that grants them both joint physical custody of their six children. Jolie and Pitt as a part of the arrangement have also agreed to participate in both individual and group counseling.
The terms of the arrangement will remain in place for three weeks, when it will be re-negotiated.
Jolie’s filing for divorce came on the heels of a heated conflict aboard a private jet between Pitt and their 15-year-old son, Maddox. There have been a handful of rumors suggesting the air-bourne incident turned abusive, ultimately prompting an investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services.
