A man was arrested after being caught by police using a frying pan as the steering wheel of his car, according to police in Australia.
Adelaide police said that around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, officers were called to Norman Street, following reports of a suspicious red Mazda sedan and a man loitering in the street.
Police officers who arrived at the scene, saw the Mazda sedan drive along Norman Street, before turning into the parking lot of a residential housing complex.
Police spoke with the driver and inspected his car.
That is when they noticed that the steering wheel had been replaced with a metal frying pan and the front plate had been altered.
Further checks revealed that the car was not registered and uninsured.
The 32-year-old driver was charged with driving unregistered, uninsured, drive contrary to defect, remove defect label, alter number plate and breach of bail.
His car was seized and will be held by police for 28 days.
