A father was brutally murdered while he was on the way to visit his wife days after she gave birth to their son.
Dennis Sloboda, 32, who was on the way to the hospital in Washington. He made a detour and drove to his parentsโ home.
There, he told his brother Anton, that he got into a road rage incident with another driver.
When that driver pulled out a gun, he got back into his car and drove to his parentsโ home, which was over a mile away from the scene.
Sloboda went inside his parentsโ home and stayed there for a while, but he did not call police.
However, the suspect apparently followed Sloboda and waited 90 minutes until he came out of his parentsโ house. After a short drive, the suspect shot and killed Sloboda.
He was found slumped over the wheel of his car at 10:30 p.m. Police are now looking for the suspect.
Sloboda left behind his wife and two sons, the newborn baby boy and a 5-year-old boy.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page, where they raised $35,500 of their $45,000 goal.
