Debunking Brangelina rumors: Angelina Jolie not hooking up with Johny Depp, Brad Pitt not involved with former model

Too bad it’s just a fantasy sequence and not a real sex scene.

A report that Angelina Jolie is expected to rebound with Johnny Depp now that she’s getting divorced from Brad Pitt has been debunked.

“All of Johnny’s friends are expecting things to turn romantic between him and Angelina sooner than later,” a source told HollywoodLife.com in a story published Sunday.

If true, it would mean “The Tourist” was a much more transformative experience to film than to watch.

But a source close to the Depp, himself fresh off a painful divorce from Amber Heard, described the HollywoodLife.com account to the Daily News as “false.”

That makes it as the latest in a string of incredible, yet ultimately false plot twists in the Hollywood drama of the year the end of Jolie’s two-year marriage and decade-long relationship with Pitt.

London’s Mirror tracked down former model April Florio who had purportedly claimed in a 2003 interview with Us Weekly that Pitt had put the moves on her while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

Florio, who denied ever speaking to the gossip glossy more than a decade ago, made it clear that she had nothing to do with Pitt’s latest marital implosion. It was unclear, however, which outlet suggested she had such a role.

“I literally went on the air to set the record straight. Well, I thought I did,” Florio told the Mirror. “I never expected to be in the middle of something like that.”

Gossipcop.com broke the hearts of a lot of romantics by debunking a report on Celebrity Dirty Laundry that the soon-to-be single “World War Z” star “may reunite” with the first ex-Mrs. Pitt.

That must have come as news to Jennifer Aniston, who can celebrate the 11th anniversary of her divorce from Pitt on Oct. 2 and is now married to Justin Theroux.

Those innuendos can go in the bin with the breathless report last week that the divorce had been triggered after Jolie hired a private investigator to uncover an affair between Pitt and his “Allied” co-star Marion Cotillard.

The French actress took to Instagram a day later to divorce herself from the whole Brangelina saga.

Well, if it wasn’t Cotillard, it may have been Selena Gomez that deserves top billing in the breakup saga. A National Enquirer report suggested an Instagram picture of Pitt speaking to his “The Big Short” co-star at the Golden Globes infuriated Jolie.

“Angie blew a gasket when she saw Selena’s Instagram, and heard through friends about how Brad and Selena flirted so shamelessly,” a source told the outlet.
