Beyoncé is giving herself a break for her 35th birthday.
After ringing in her big day with the likes of Bill Clinton and Chance the Rapper and hours before her “Soul Train”-themed birthday bash the singer postponed Wednesday’s “Formation World Tour” show at MetLife Stadium for “vocal rest.”
The announcement, apparently the result of “strict doctor’s orders,” appeared on the East Rutherford, N.J., venue’s website Monday. Her gig will now take place a month later on Oct. 7, with upcoming tour dates proceeding as planned.
Queen Bey has not yet issued her own statement on the postponement.

Still, the concert snag didn’t stop her from throwing on her finest ‘70s attire and dancing with her husband well into the early morning at her “Soul Train”-themed party in New York City.
The revelers who included Jay Z, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Carmelo Anthony, P. Diddy, Usher and fellow Destiny’s Child alumni Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland were at it until 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to E! News.

“Thank you, everybody, for coming. You guys did such an incredible job committing, and I’m so happy to be here,” the Grammy winner reportedly addressed her well-wishers, adding a “Thank you, baby” directed at her husband.
Bey’s praise was just another stop on a gratitude tour that began earlier that day in an Instagram post, where she waxed sentimental over “my family, my friends, and my hive.”
“I’m so grateful for every challenge, every smile, every tear, every discovery, every sacrifice, every triumph, every stretch mark, every kiss, every scar. I strive to make you proud,” she wrote. “I love YOOOUUUU!!! B.”
