50 Cent is counting down the days until he can go straight to the bank without paying child support.
The rapper took to Instagram to share a countdown of when his child support is up for his eldest son Marquise Jackson in a now-deleted post.
“Man real life is gonna start Sooner then you think. Sad part is I wish you well, good. #Shanquagetsajob,” the artist wrote, referencing his ex and the teen’s mother, Shaniqua Tompkins.
Jackson, 18, quickly fired back at his estranged father, writing “Don’t worry I’ll make you proud! Just don’t forget to tell me happy birthday that day cause u missed a few.”
The social media back-and-forth continued with Marquise then posting an image of himself clapping with another jab at his dad.
“Around of applause for those who come for you when you don’t send for them,” he wrote on Monday.
Jackson was attending the Newark International Film Festival in Newark, N.J., on Wednesday for the premiere of the film “Dope Fiend,” in which he stars.
The “Straight to the Bank” singer commented on an image from the premiere, requesting that the poster remove the line “50 Cent’s son” from the caption.
“His name is Marquise, take 50cent’s son out your post please,” 50 Cent commented. “He is on his own path, doing his own thing. I have nothing to do with this project.”
The star had tried mending his relationship with his son last year, when he reached out to him on Instagram, but it seems to never have panned out.
