A teenage girl was arrested on a charge of poisoning food or water to kill/injure a person after allegedly putting chalk into her teacher’s coffee, according to police in Florida.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested the 13-year-old girl, who was not identified, after turning a piece of chalk into powder and pouring into her teacher’s coffee cup.
The incident unfolded on Wednesday, at the Achieve Center.
Luckily, another student saw what was happening and stopped the teacher from drinking the coffee. The suspect allegedly told other girls that she hated her teacher.
The girl was suspended from school, and will be expelled from the school district.
