A man came to court with ugly tattoos on his face as a sign of remorse for killing his much younger girlfriend while he was drunk.
A friend of the victim told police that the suspect warned his teenage girlfriend that he is going to put her in the grave the night she was killed.
Sasho Ristovski, 28, of Australia, was driving under the influence of drugs when he crashed his car and killed 16-year-old Maddison Tilyard.
Ristovski was dating Tilyard for just three weeks, when he was speeding and lost control of his father’s car. He crashed into a tree in Melbourne, killing Tilyard.
Two weeks after the crash, Ristovksi tattooed his face with graphic symbols to make him look like a demon as an alleged sign of remorse.
Ristovski pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death and reckless conduct endangering a person. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
