A company president was arrested on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm after allegedly fracturing the skull of a young child by slamming his head into the ground, according to police in Japan.

Chiba police said that they have arrested 42-year-old Fumiaki Nagahashi, after being accused of assaulting the 6-year-old son of his 35-year-old employee.

According to the police investigation, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, when the employee and his son were visiting his house.

Nagahashi was playing with the boy by practicing pro wrestling moves on him, police said. At one point, the child screamed in pain and hit the face of Nagahashi.

In response, Nagahashi slammed the boy’s head on the wooden floor, fracturing the skull. The incident came to light when the child vomited after being assaulted.
