A woman was charged with reckless driving after admitting to driving her
vehicle with her eyes closed, according to police in Florida.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said that the 28-year-old woman,
who was not identified, lost control of her vehicle while driving with
her eyes closed and praying.
The woman has been charged with reckless driving and property damage.
According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Thursday
morning, in the Mary Esther neighborhood.
The was traveling eastbound on Marcia Drive, when she did not stop at a
stop sign. She went through an intersection and into the yard of a house
on Miramar Drive.
She then slammed her vehicle into the home. She tried to back out, but
got stuck in the soil. She was taken to a hospital for an evaluation.
